Dear Valued Patient,

On Friday, January 9, 2026, I was informed by the building owner that the property where CooperCareAZ is located has been sold and I need to vacate by February 4, 2026. To say I was shocked is an understatement, and I am sure this news comes as a surprise to you as well. After a good deal of thought and consultation with my planning team, I have made the difficult decision to close CooperCareAZ.

After 30 years of serving patients in the Valley, I had begun a gradual transition toward retirement, but this unexpected development has accelerated that timeline. In the coming weeks, I will do my best to increase office hours to ensure you can be seen or receive sufficient prescription refills while you establish care with a new primary care provider. When it comes to selecting a new physician, I recommend reaching out to your specialists plus friends and family for recommendations.

Your medical records will be available to you while we are still open and will remain available to you after the practice closes. 

It has truly been my honor and privilege to care for you over the years. Your trust and partnership in your health journey have meant more to me than words can express. Please know that I will always cherish the relationships built and the memories shared during this time. Wishing you continued health, happiness, and peace in the years ahead.
